A family-run atelier in the foothills of the Rhodopes, where three generations of women have shaped merino and alpaca by hand. Pieces are knit slowly — a single sweater can take three days — and finished with seams pressed under linen cloth.
GOTS-certified merino, undyed alpaca, plant-dyed cotton.

Indigo dye & woven silks

Studio Hinode keeps the aizome (natural indigo) tradition alive in a small machiya near the Kamo river. Every length of cloth is dipped by hand twelve times — the colour deepens with wear rather than fading.
Heritage silk, organic cotton, fermented natural indigo.
Master-apprentice model. Water filtered and returned cleaner than drawn.

A women-led cooperative of 47 weavers working with the fleeces of their own herds in the Sacred Valley. Patterns are drawn from regional iconography that predates the Inca — each piece signed by the woman who made it.

A second-generation silk house preserving the engraved-roller printing technique once used along the Croix-Rousse. Designs are drawn by hand, then printed in small editions of 80 to 200 pieces.

Working with flax grown within 200 km of the workshop, Linum produces a small seasonal capsule of linen pieces designed to soften over decades. Garments are stone-washed in small batches for the lived-in hand-feel.
